A Few Fall Photos

Well, my pastel workshop last weekend was a success! I loved it! The downside is that now I'm obsessed and can't keep myself out of the art supply store! We spent Saturday at Chief Whitecap Park, on the river bank. We must have seen thousands of geese; they were so noisy it was hard to concentrate on drawing!

I was able to take a couple of pictures...

I'm hoping to have many more fall photos to come... only they will have people in them! Much more exciting! Happy Friday!

Another Brick in the Wall

Found this great wall in the back alley behind my office at lunch today. Love love love the texture!

And I made poor Andrea stand in front of another great wall in the same alley. She is forever my patient guinea pig and model extraordinaire!

Have a great weekend, everyone! I'm in a "landscapes in pastel" workshop all weekend. Should be a nice way to enjoy this beautiful weekend outdoors! Wonder if the instructor would get mad if I set my pastels to the side for a few minutes to snap some pics? I'll try!

Bust-a-Gut Bootcamp!

Last winter I started taking a step aerobics class at my gym. Enter Miss Ronda Gadd! She taught the class, and somehow made step fun! I mean, she even has Abba step music! She instantly became my fave instructor, and I started taking all her classes. And best of all we became friends!

Ronda is a fantastic trainer, and also teaches an outdoor boot camp. I don't know how a group of girls can have so many laughs and giggles while getting a seriously awesome workout, but somehow we do! I've recently done some work for Ronda, including some photography as well as business cards and a new poster. Have a look!

Notes for the Newlyweds!

Hi guys! Long time no see. The days have gotten away from me, and I have neglected the blog. I have something fun to share with you. It is a little something called, "Notes for the Newlyweds". My husband and I came up with the idea for my friend Andrea's wedding. We wanted to give them a special gift they would always remember. So, we found a message board and some dry erase markers and roamed the reception gathering little notes for the newlyweds. I then put them all in a photo book and gave it to the couple. They loved it! Here is a very small sample of some of the messages they received:
