Oh, the fun of photo re-touching!

My husband and his friend were recently dispatched to Northern Saskatchewan to do some field work. They took some great photos of a part of the country that most of us never get to see.

I decided to take a few of my favorites and re-touch them. Not just a little bit, I'm talking some pretty dramatic and stylized processing here.

I thought I'd post a few of the before and afters so you can see how big of a difference post-processing can make. Granted, a lot of the looks I've created here don't work for every situation, but it will give you an idea! So, the photo credits belong to Tyler and Calvin, I just had the easy job of jazzing them up a little bit!

You'll find my version first, with the original photograph below.

These photos were taken with a pretty standard point-and-shoot camera. It is easy to take everyday photos you have shot and give them a little something extra!

AMAZING what you can create.

Just checked out your "All That Sparkles" under photography on saraheya.com and that shoot is brilliant. Excellent work. The slide show kicks it all up to an even higher level of beauty.
